Chairman George Bisso called the joint meeting to order at 1115.  Originally, the meeting was to start at 1030, but the tour groups visiting the US Border Patrol Dispatch Center took longer than expected, so many attendees were later getting to Semiahmoo.  The tours went very well, and Thanks to Joe King for coordinating them.  Introductions were made around the tables.    Members and guests in attendance today: 58.  Everyone (?) signed in on papers placed on each table by Kris McGowan, who kindly helped with registration and collections, and issued receipts for the lunch.

Jim Seymour, Bob Laurels & Jon Long- spoke about JPS Interoperability equipment

Ramon Abelleyro- spoke about Software Defined Radio, Com-kit add-ons & other interoperability equipment

An audiotape was made, but the information has not been reduced to a summary for details into “ the minutes” at this time.  A GOAL is to have that ready for the Sept 9, 2003, WWCIC meeting.  If anyone should wish, a copy of the tape could be made available, for a small charge.
